Reduced Forms (ongoing)

Digital Prints produced using a laser, back projection screen and custom software manipulating open-source 3d scans of neo-classical sculptures.

Looking at how far sculptural forms can be reduced  before they lose therir 'humanity' and meaning. Creating ambiguity in the images that you fill in.

Using custom code, 3d scans of scupltures are transformed into five audio signals, which are used to control the position and colour of a laser beam.

The audio signals are run through various processes and filters, like a synthesiser or electric guitar going through effects pedals. Improvising with these tools and using long-exposure photography to capture the resulting images.
